How I was scammed
My story is similar to the other ladies, except that I have been scammed out of £350. On ringing my bank to get them to block any further withdrawals from my account by Stemologica, I was advised to cancel my debit card altogether and get a new one, as they'd still be able to use my card details to scam further, just by changing their name by one digit. I had not ordered any of the creams, but I have been away on and off since I ordered the special introductory offer in June, and the parcels were put somewhere out of the way by my house mate. On checking my account I found that these huge sums had been taken out.

Total thievery is the only way I can describe this company. Do not be fooled by their 'free trial' scam where you think you are only paying for the postage, then get charged £100.00 for each item after 14 day trial which you can't even see on their advertisement. Do not touch with a barge pole or anything else for that matter. I have been in touch with the 'Don't get conned by Stemologica' facebook page where there are so many tales like my own, so at least I wasn't the only one fooled by their clever advertising. I contacted the company and they offered me a refund of £60.00 ( after having taken nearly £200.00 out of my bank account). A full refund only being possible if the boxes hadn't been opened !! Contacted my bank who were very helpful and have heard similar things before. they will also be contacting the company to attempt a full refund for me. Also- the lady involved with the Facebook page has been extremely helpful ....it's all so time consuming though, so please be warned!!

Payments taken without consent
I signed up for a trial costing £3.95 I received the package through the post containing a day cream a night cream and an eye cream promptly ... I've since been charged £95 followed by a payment of £69.95 , they've since tried to take further payments but after contacting my bank , they have put a stop to it thankfully . I Feel totally sickened by it , the products weren't great either ! I believed it to be a one off payment , apparently not . The goods were sent with no paperwork or information about cancellations, I'll never buy products on line again , and would strongly advise that nobody else signs up unless you have money to burn ... Which I don't !

Quasi-legal theft?
I just had the exact same experience. I rang them (bank gave me the number) 0800 088 ****. Not only do they insist I 'agreed' to these orders (repeated monthly!!!), they insist they will take another £69.95 on top of the £97.50 from my account. Waffle about being outside the 14 day period and then the 30 day period (??) were spouted. Refused to give me a postal address but when I said I thought they were in Israel, was told they are on South Carolina. Refused to discuss the appalling state of the product, lack of packaging and total mess - just accused me of not informing them! But how? I wailed? How could I inform an invisible company it's taken New Day's Fraud department to begin to discover and only because of the fraudulent charge which requires details to be paid. Feeling so stressed I could faint. This appears to be well-known quasi-legalised theft?

Very clever fraud, terrible products
I fell for this one as it looked remarkably like an offer from BT (my telecom provider). This excuse does not make me any less foolish or naive. 'Free' products arrived and were rejected my my wife after a single application as 'like being covered in plastic'. Once the second lot arrived - unordered - it became obvious to me even in my dotage that this was a scam. I cancelled and returned the shipment, unopened. Refund was not forthcoming because they alleged product had been opened. Additional charges were made to my card several months after they confirmed they would not do so. The only way to stop them is to cancel the card. Don't touch them with a bargepole.

Highly deceitful business practices
i ordered a "free sample" with an offer on the internet where I had to pay shipping only. They did not send the sample but sent a whole shipment of ointments. My visa account was then debited not only with the sHipping charges but also about $350.00 for the shipment. I was away on holidays and then my visa company called and advised that this same company is trying to get more money from my visa account! When I came back from my holidays I shipped the products back to the company , unopened and unused for a full refund. They claimed that they could not give me a refund because they were opened and used. I do not know how to stop this company from defrauding another individual but I'm going to do my best to do so.

I was charged $179 for the trial kit they sent me, i called them asking for a refund but they said i can't return the product anymore because its opened already and its past the 14 days they gave to try it, how can i try the product it i don't open it? Why do they call it a free trial if i can't even open it! ***! I cancelled my account with them but i still want a refund, its too much to pay for a product that doesn't work! The customer service representative i talked to was rude and pretends that she can't hear me so ican't make my complaints!

Stemologica and Beautemer: A Big Scam
I ordered these products too. Same story. I was charged 179.00 and 169.00 respectively and even when I returned the products they told me that because they had been opened, they would not refund me my money. Read the terms and conditions with the tiny print on the bottom. Why would anyone order these products and then not use them? I was also out $50.00 sending the products back. My bank is now saying I am entitled to only half my money back. Beware of these scammers. How can anyone working for these scam artists sleep at night?

Rating 0/10: beautemer/stemologica/beautekit.com/luxbeaute.com SCAM
I was on a site that I trusted, meetup.com and on it popped up a survey to take for a free gift. Normally I wouldn't believe in free gifts but I thought that it was affiliated with the site that I trusted. I picked the beauty products as a free gift and was transferred to the site which stated that it needed my credit card information to process the shipping and handling only and it said nowhere on the site that I would be charged for the products after the 14 day free trial. Nor was I notified in the emails that I would be charged for the products after the trial and I also was not notified that I was going to have recurring charges to my account every month for refill products. This information was not in plain view on the site or in the emails sent from them and I was not notified of any charges other than the shipping and handling. Any site that tells you its a free gift and then charges you 149.95 per product without telling you is a SCAM! All important information that the consumer needed to know including fees were under terms and conditions which most people do not read because believe it or not the words free gift sounds pretty self explanatory. I hope that my posting this complaint will save someone else the trouble of being scammed from this site, it's not right.

Poor business ethics
I had purchased the so called "FREE" product and a month after I received it I was billed nearly $400 on my mastercard (which I had given for freight) sure enough in small print ON LINE there was a 14 day return policy - I happened to be away for the summer so the product was here for 3 weeks before I got it NO RETURN POLICY = and even if I dont like it - NO RETURN they obviously make their money this way as their product is not even close to being worth this amount I will continue to fight with them - I am on a limited fixed retirement income and cannot afford this - BEWARE and anytime you see it in line anywhere note - SCAM -
